Wrestling is one of the few sports that was represented from the start of Olympic history. As such, it should always remain as an Olympic sport. Part of the allure of the Olympics is that it is a competition that has it's roots in the past. If you get rid of all the ancient sports it just becomes another bland event and before you know it, they'll be replacing the discus with surfing Do we still have synchronised swimming?

That is a joke, I am a football fan but we already have too many football competitions. It should be easy to determine which sports to choose from and the first cut should be based on whether winning an Olympic medal is the pinnacle of achievement.
